It would seem that post Superbad, Jonah Hill is attached to more projects than anyone from the Judd Apatow players. He’s flirted with the idea of becoming the comic relief for the Transformers sequel and now he’s in negotiations to write and produce the film version of cult ‘80s cop show 21 Jump Street. You know, the one that effectively launched Johnny Depp’s career and would have aired when Jonah was five.
Yet according to Entertainment Weekly Hill is going to be scribbling the screenplay. Will this turn into solid, 100% see-you-at-the-junket news? Or will it vanish into the ether like the Transformers plan? We’ll have to wait and see…
