While Warners continues to seem unable to move on with making another Superman film despite both Bryan Singer and Brandon Routh promising us it’s in the works, someone else has stepped up and claimed they’re up to the task.
That someone is Mark Millar, the man who created the comic book that Wanted is loosely based on. With the film’s success, he’s finding that people are returning his phone calls and now he says that a “big name” American director and producer with ties to Warners have solicited his help in working up an idea to reboot the Man of Steel.
Millar doesn’t give many hints about his plans, and even says that he can’t announce anything until sometime before Christmas – that’s why this is staying firmly in the grip of the rumour-hounds for now.
