Rumour Mill: Mission: Impossible 4?

The Cruiser’s rift with Paramount looks to be healing…

Following his big bust-up with Paramount (over money and Viacom boss Sumner Redstone’s dissatisfaction with his bad press), Tom Cruise took his toys to United Artists and it looked like the Mission: Impossible franchise was all but dead.

What a difference a year and a half makes… Now, with Lions For Lambs having failed to set the box office alight and Valkyrie attracting terrible buzz even before it sees cinemas, the Cruise is chatting it up with Paramount over making a fourth Mission: Impossible adventure. Or at least, Variety reports that he is.

So come on… Who do you want to direct this possible latest outing for Ethan Hunt? Hit the forums and tell us.
