Rumour Mill: Viggo dancing with wolves?

Mortensen may take over for Kevin Costner…

According to Moviehole’s sources, Kevin Costner has decided that what he really doesn’t need to do right now is make a sequel to one of his biggest films, Dances With Wolves.

Apparently he’s dropped out of making the follow-up, The Holy Road, which director Simon Wincer is trying to get made. Treating the movie as a direct continuation of the original, The Holy Road will see our hero married with children as the colonisation of America continues apace and the railroad threatens his lifestyle.

And who do the producers think might make a decent Costner substitute? Why, Aragorn himself, Viggo Mortensen. All of this is naturally still in the realm of rumour, but click the link for more…
