Rumour: Nightwing and Wonder Woman to appear in Batman vs. Superman?

Olga Kurylenko in line for the latter

Major rumours have surfaced regarding Batman vs. Superman today, with various sources claiming that both Nightwing and Wonder Woman may feature in the film.

Latino Review, usually a reliable source for superhero news, reports that Warner is searching for potential actors to play an adult Dick Grayson, now acting as the vigilante Nightwing.

The casting brief is apparently "a young John Hawkes type", creating the intriguing image of a Hawkes / Affleck double-act.

Meanwhile, Forbes is claiming that Wonder Woman will also appear in the film, with Schmoes Knows also reporting that Olga Kurylenko has already tested for the role.

Whether or not any of the above actually pans out remains to be seen, but in the wake of Affleck's casting, we're inclined to believe that anything's possible!

Directed by Zack Snyder, Batman vs. Superman will open in the US on 17 July 2015, with a UK date to be announced in due course.

Olga Kurylenko?? Really? We are supposed to believe that Wonder Woman, the big strong amazonian a*s kicking goddess she is, will be played by an incredibly skinny female?? Not having it. Diana is supposed to be a physically perfect specimen for fighting, that was what she was created for. Henry Cavill bulked up, Stephen Amell has bulked up for Arrow, Bale bulked up for Batman. All 3 making it look like they could physically dominate their opponents. Unless Olga goes into some serious a*s training and puts on about 30-40pounds of muscle, i'll be raging if she gets it. And people wonder why the female superheros are still not taken seriously.

I thought Jaimie Alexander was being pursued for the role of Wonder Woman? @CharsmatcEngma, maybe they tested Olga and didn't like what she had to offer? Just because she tested doesn't necessarily mean she's got the part. I bet we'll hear of 100's of actresses before the final casting is officially announced.

Well Lynda Carter was just as slim when she played Wonder Woman so it wouldnt surprise me if it will be a svelte lady this time around. Besides Jaimie Alexander is no bigger than Kurylenko

Lets just finally change the title to Justice League.... it appears to be heading that way anyways. A Supes sequel should be a Supes movie for cryin out loud.

As a massive Nightwing fan and the fact the Batman is going to be more seasoned in MoS2 this is great news! As long as they don't completely ignore the fact that he WAS Robin! Hint at it or reference it please. They could be cleaver and ref it using the current Robin. Something like: Batman: No Jason's(or maybe Tim?) not ready yet, I need you Dick Nightwing: On my way Bruce As for WW - please dont let this be true! We need a WW cameo in MoS2 and a full roll in JL but not Olga.
