Russian trailer for The Lone Ranger includes brand new footage: watch now

All aboard the runaway train!

A new Russian trailer has emerged online for The Lone Ranger, featuring some brand new action-packed footage.

The new trailer doesn’t do much in the way of explaining the plot to the non-Russian viewer, but despite that, it does throw the spotlight on some of the film’s more spectacular set-pieces.

Aside from all the explosions, watch out for an eye-opening scene featuring Helena Bonham-Carter, in which her character reveals there’s more going on beneath her skirt than you might have imagined...

Take a look, below:

What with its rousing score, breathless action and all-round sense of adventure, the trailer is more than a little reminiscent of Gore Verbinski and Johnny Depp’s work on Pirates Of The Caribbean. Let’s hope the pair can recapture the magic of that first film rather than the bum-numbing tedium of its sequels.

Directed by Verbinski and co-starring Depp, Armie Hammer and William Fichtner, The Lone Ranger will open in the UK on 9 August 2013.

What do you think of the new trailer? Tell us, below!

The old 'explosion not happening but then DOES happen' joke again ey. Also when 'The General' had an ACTUAL train falling through a flaming bridge into a river in 1926, one thats very clearly CGI just doesn't really seem that impressive.
