We’ve previously reported that Sandra Bullock has agreed to star in Touchstone’s romantic comedy The Proposal, which sees her demanding female businesswoman facing deportation to Canada. Her solution is, like Gerard Depardieu in Green Card, to marry an American.
And now she’s found one. Except he’s Canadian in real life. Ryan Reynolds will play Bullock’s male assistant, who agrees to a sham engagement and marriage.
The comedy’s being produced by Transformers scribes Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, though the script is by the president of their production company, Peter Chiarelli. We doubt there’ll be any giant robots in this one, though.
