Sam Fell, who last directed The Tale Of Despereaux, is switching to live action for his next project, novel adaptation Demonkeeper.
The plot, unsurprisingly, sees a Seattle youth inheriting the responsibility of a house filled with demons.
But when he finally manages to get out for the night to go on a date, he comes back to find that some pesky kids have broken in and unleashed the most dangerous beastie in the place – the Beast.
How bad is this guy? He’s also known as Killer Of Lost Children. So, you know, not good.
Shutter Island writer Laeta Kalogridis is penning the script, which has been adapted from Royce Buckingham’s novel.
