Disney might not seem to be the most perfect fit for the filmmaking sensibilities of Sam Raimi, but he seems convinced that a new action comedy is just the thing to thrive in the Mouse House.
He’s producing The Transplants, scribbled by Adam Jay Epstein and Andrew Jacobson (who wrote Not Another Teen Movie) for the studio. The story is, as so many are these days, under tight security, but The Hollywood Reporter mentions that it’s a superhero adventure aimed at the whole family.
Let’s hope it’s more The Incredibles than Zoom…
