It's been one of the worst kept secrets in Hollywood, but Samuel L Jackson's people have finally confirmed the star will appear in Quentin Tarantino's next project Django Unchained.
As has been long-rumoured, Sam will play Stephen, sadistic slave-owner Calvin Candie's (Leonardo DiCaprio) house-slave and right-hand man in the violent western.
Jackson officially joins an already awesome cast, including Jamie Foxx as Django, Christoph Waltz as a German bounty hunter, as well as the currently-rumoured Kevin Costner and - please let this be true - Treat Williams.
Django Unchained is down for a 2012 release, and we can't motherfucking wait.

Wasn't happy with Jamie Foxx being cast, and I'm really not a fan of SLJ but I actually like this casting.
