For her follow-up to the Sex And The City movie, Sarah Jessica Parker is looking for a stunning shift in character, playing a half-alien lesbian bounty hunter who works from a parallel universe where dogs talk and bananas are lethal weapons.
Oh, wait… Nope, she’s currently negotiating for the lead role in Warners’ adaptation of Karen Quinn’s novel The Ivy Chronicles. The plot follows a wealthy woman who loses her dream, well-paid job, gets divorced and is forced to start again in a downtown apartment and move her kids to a less respected school. It’s a hard knock life, but fortunately she soon starts a business helping middle-class mothers get their spawn into top-notch kindergartens. She must really have loved all those fancy shoes.
