Scorsese becomes a film critic!

Goodfellas helmer complained to satellite TV about their reviews – so they hired him

The Worldwide Brotherhood Of Movie Critics is about to get a famous new member, as Martin Scorsese signs up to scribble a monthly column for a satellite TV service.

Ol’ porcupine eyebrows moaned so much about the review system on DirectTV that they invited him to do better and fair play to the Aviator helmer, he took the bait.

The column will appear in the magazine sent out to subscribers, with Marty set to critique overlooked flicks.

The firm hatched a plan to approach Scorsese after he’d taken the time to write them a letter suggesting how they might change their reviews section.

It’s just a shame we made up the whole ‘Worldwide Brotherhood Of Movie Critics’ thing… bet the membership cards would rock.
