Scott Eastwood has won a role in his dad’s currently title-free Nelson Mandela drama.
Formerly known as The Human Factor, the film tells the real-life story of how Mandela – who had just been voted president - and South African Rugby captain Francois Pienaar worked to help unite the country in the time following apartheid.
Matt Damon (sporting extra blond highlights) is playing Pienaar as he leads his team in the 1995 World Cup Championship.
There’s no word on who Eastwood Jr will be playing, though he could well be another member of the rugby team.
Eastwood is busily shooting the film now, with Morgan Freeman playing Mandela and a script adapted from John Carlin’s book Playing The Enemy: Nelson Mandela And The Game That Made A Nation.
