From the Licensing International Expo in Las Vegas

A poster for The Avengers has been spotted at LX11 - The International Licensing Expo in Las Vegas - featuring the whole gang.

The Licensing Expo is where movie and television producers meet toy and tat manufacturers to hash out deals on everything from action figures to stationery, clothing and breakfast cereal.

With licensing a particularly lucrative side to any big summer tentpole, Marvel has turned up in full force for The Avengers, producing a colourful one-sheet to promote their multi-character team-up bonanza.

Though hand-drawn (as is the trend, this week at least) hopefully the actual poster will look a little less like a comic-book cover.

The Avengers opens 4 May 2012.

So, what's wrong with looking like a comic book cover. These are adaptations of comic books right? I think it would be cool if the first one sheet adopted the style of the comic books I grew up reading and built up the love I have for these films. This film is for the fans.
