The hit-to-miss ratio for films adapted from old TV shows hasn’t exactly been high, but after a very funny reel at Comic Con, we’re quietly enthusiastic for Get Smart, which stars Steve Carell.
Updating the classic espionage spoof series with Carell as the bumbling Agent 86 trying to stop the forces of KAOS from taking over the world, the movie also features the delectable Anne Hathaway as the self-assured Agent 99 and Dwayne Johnson as Agent 23, their boss.
