Shia LaBeouf finds Dark Fields
A smart pill thriller

Now that the long shoot for Eagle Eye is complete, Shia LaBeouf is once more available for other projects. And while he has a little film called Transformers 2 likely to shoot this summer (barring an actors’ strike), he’s quietly agreed to star in Dark Fields for Universal.
Based on Alan Glynn’s novel, it’s the tale of a bloke who finds the ultimate smart pill, and the trouble it causes in his life. Neil Burger, the man who made The Illusionist, is directing.
Variety has swallowed the info-pill.
