Given how well films spun off from reality shows work out (we’re thinking From Justin To Kelly, the awful American Idol pic), we’re a little hesitant to hear that Simon Cowell has decided to make something based on Britain’s Got Talent.
But the story of opera singer Paul Potts, amateur singer and mobile phone salesman, who rode the show to some well-deserved success, looks much more likely to provide the source material for something different – and decent.
Bucket List writer Justin Zackham is penning the script right now and The Hollywood Reporter is hoping for its shot at glory.
