Southland Tales gets a release date...
And it's out this year!

We've been looking forward to Southland Tales since the Cannes before last - we loved it, even if most of the people there didn't - and we can't wait to see the new cut.
And it looks as though our patience has been rewarded - Samuel Goldwyn Films have announced that Richard Kelly's Donnie Darko follow-up will hit cinemas on 9 November.
That brings it awfully close to the supposed-to-be-the-future timeline of the film - 4 July 2008, but it could have worse. Remember how much you chuckled when you rewatched Escape From New York in 1997?
