Good news if you’re A) a fan of Abraham Lincoln or B) Liam Neeson. After talking about it for years, Steven Spielberg finally seems ready to start making his Lincoln biopic.
Why now? It seems that his planned follow-up to Tintin, Chicago Seven, has been delayed because the script needs rewrites and there’s always the chance that the looming actors’ strike would also affect it.
Tintin, however, is apparently safe from any strike action due to its motion capture/animated nature. Screen Daily has the info.
