Set to boldly go into cinemas this Christmas, JJ Abram’s Star Trek movie prequel has added a Transporter Chief to the crew of the starship USS Enterprise.
That would be Marlene Forte, Cuban-born star of 24, ER, The Unit, Lost, CSI, The West Wing, Nip/Tuck and, well, seemingly every other show on US TV.
She joins Eric Bana (Nero), Karl Urban (Bones McCoy), Winona Ryder (Amanda Grayson), Zachary Quinto (Spock), John Cho (Sulu) and Chris Pine (Kirk) on deck.
Abrams is already rolling cameras and Forte will no doubt be hoping he doesn’t hand her a red suit.
