Stars sign for Definitely, Maybe

Universal snap up script from Wimbledon scribbler and the stars leap on board

Two stars who have been part of two corkin’ little comedies over the last year or so have hitched their wagons to Universal’s romantic comedy, Definitely, Maybe.

Just Friends star Ryan Reynolds and Wedding Crashers loveable nut Isla Fisher have signed up to star in the tale about a political consultant who’s heading for divorce and dealing with life as a father to an inquisitive 11 year-old girl.

From the pen of Adam Brooks, who adapted Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reason for the big screen, the flick will also star Friday Night Lights actor Derek Luke.

Love Actually producers Working Title are lined up to co-produce, with honcho Tim Bevan in the frame to sign the cheques.
