Writer Peter Morgan and star Michael Sheen are playing the biopic game again, focusing this time on legendary (and legendarily arrogant/cranky Leeds footie manager Brian Clough in The Damned United.
Now they’re busy gathering a team. This Is England’s Stephen Graham will play Leeds captain Billy Bremner, while Martin Compston and Peter McDonald will play Johnny Giles and John O’Hare. Other names already attached include Jim Broadbent, Timothy Spall and Colm Meaney and Variety is watching from the stands.
