Stiller confirms Zoolander sequel

Owen Wilson to return, Will Ferrell a possibility

After last week’s announcement that Justin Theroux will take the reigns on the long-awaited Zoolander sequel, Mr Blue Steel himself has revealed a number of juicy new details during an interview with MTV.

“We are in the process of getting a script written”, said Stiller. “It’s in the early stages, but it’s gonna happen.” The star went on to confirm that the film will “have input from all the Zoolander people”, including co-star Owen Wilson, who will return as Derek’s catwalk nemesis Hansel.

The sequel will be set ten years after the original, and according to Stiller, time has not been kind to the ridiculously good-looking one. “The beginning of the movie is [set] ten years later, and Derek & Hansel are literally forgotten. Nobody even knows who they are, so they have to re-invent themselves.”

Sounds intriguing, but what of Will Ferrell’s oddly-coiffed supervillain Mugatu? Well if Stiller has his way, he’ll be back as well. “If Will says yes, he definitely has to be a part of it. To me, Mugatu is one of the classic screen villains of all time!”

Stiller, Wilson and Ferrell reunited? Sounds like a winner to us.

Excited? Or is there more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good-looking?
