Sue Sylvester cut from Glee movie

Jane Lynch's character relegated to the DVD

Jane Lynch has been cut from Glee: The 3D Concert Movie despite appearing in the film's trailer.

However, the actress - who plays snarky cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester – will have her role restored when the spin-off movie from the Glee TV show is released on DVD.

"We're doing another version in a couple of weeks on DVD. Jane will be on that. We'll do it that way," series co-creator Ryan Murphy told USA Today

Lynch featured at all of the Glee live concerts thanks to a recorded video but made a real-life appearance at one performance so that it could be recorded for the film.

Perhaps Sue Sylvester fans should heed her advice in the trailer: "Please, save your money. This thing sucks."

Annoyed that Sue won't be harassing the Glee kids? Or simply overwhelmed beyond rational thought at the prospect of seeing Glee on the big screen? Sing it out below!

What total idiots. Everyone who isn't deluding themselves knows that Sue is the only original and funny part of the show. That'd be like releasing Avatar on a ten dollar budget. Morons.

So... they've cut the one good character in the show. Nice one!
