Joel Courtney, the 15-year-old star of JJ Abrams' Super 8, has ‘entered negotiations’ to join the film Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn.
Jo Kastner will write and direct Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn, with Courtney starring as Tom Sawyer.
The young actor is also in talks to join the cast of The Healer, a supernatural thriller from Georgio Serafini.
Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn, which is based on Mark Twain’s novels, is set on the Mississippi river, and will begin shooting later this year in Bulgaria. Naturally.
