Superman: Man Of Steel relying on Christopher Nolan

When he signs, it gets the nod

Yes, you read that headline right. We didn't accidentally type Superman: Man Of Steel instead of Batman 3. DC comics President Paul Levitz has confirmed that Warner Brothers execs are waiting for Christopher Nolan to sign on for Batman 3 before they set a date for Superman: Man Of Steel.

“Everyone is waiting for Nolan to sign on for another Batman, once that happens, the release date for Superman and all other future projects will follow,” Levitz told Latino Review.

Brandon Routh at Warners

But that's not the only massive geek news Levitz let slip during his chat.

“Last week Brandon Routh has come around the offices in New York and Los Angeles as of late to talk about Superman and what we want to do,” he said.

So, a Brandon Routh starring Superman Returns sequel will happen. You know, once Nolan gets back from holiday. Take your time Chris, you deserve it.

Routh was amazing, he looks exactly how Superman/Clark Kent should. He even looks likes he is a relation to Christopher Reeve. I cannot understand why he has not been brought back for the 2011 Superman movie? It just doesn't make any sense? Everyone knows we all get attached to certain actors for certain roles but yet hollywood keep changing them and disapointing the most important people, us the film fan! The best thing they could do is release the Brit and Re-Hire Routh as Superman for the sake of this great comic book character and future of the Superman movies! 'Routh For Superman, No one else please'!....
