Susan Sarandon joins Wall Street 2

She's Shia's mum...

Susan Sarandon is close to signing on for Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps for Oliver Stone.

In the movie, she'll play the mother of our hero, Shia LaBeouf, a young, ambitious, impressionable Wall Street trader whose life takes a turn when he falls under the influence of Gordon Gekko.

With Douglas returning to his famous role and Frank Langella also aboard, Stone will kick off shooting the new movie next month in New York.

There's still no official announcement about Carey Mulligan or Josh Brolin officially jumping aboard, but we're keeping our fingers crossed...
