Just in case we got you too excited, let's get this out of the way…that's Mandy Moore, not Mrs Kutcher, and Kiefer not daddy Donald…
Those scarily consistent mirth-merchants over at Simpsons HQ have rustled up some cracking guest stars in the past but the current series airing in the States is shaping up to take the prize.
With the infamous Ricky Gervais episode in the can, creator Matt Groening and team have snagged 24 star Kiefer Sutherland to play an Army Colonel who tangles with suspected terrorist Homer J. Moore will portray a sexy dominatrix in an upcoming episode.
Also in the frame for the new season are off-beat rock twosome The White Stripes.
