Forgive us for being cynical when Tarantino announced at Cannes that he’d be bringing his WWII convict action-flick Inglorious Bastards to the festival in 2009, but he’s made us a lot of promises he hasn’t kept.
But with the pre-production of a flick that could easily be shot down and dirty (quickly) being officially announced, it looks like we might have to send him a ‘sorry’ note to send with that ‘thank you’ card we’ve got planned.
Or, to put it another way, we couldn’t be more excited for this one.
