Tarantino talks Inglorious Bastards!

"I want it to feel current..."

We’re a little confused as to why Quentin Tarantino would be surprised so many people know about him penning World War Two epic Inglorious Bastards- after all, he’s been writing it for ages and has been hyping whenever he can.

Still, he’s apparently finally finished writing the thing, and he seems happy to have it done. “I want it to feel right now,” he tells the BBC.” One of the things I have to battle against is 30 years of Nazi-occupation TV movies where we've all seen the big streets and the vintage cars and the Swastikas, and we've just seen that ad nauseum.”

There’s no word on casting yet, but we’re hoping for a dream team forged from his past casts. Harvey Keitel? Tim Roth? Come on QT… you know it makes sense!
