MTV are making a Teen Wolf TV series, based on the 1985 comedy starring Michael J. Fox as the basketball-playing lycanthrope.
Anyone unlucky enough to remember Teen Wolf Too will probably approach this news with trepidation.
The Hollywood Reporter says the reboot will be "a dramatic thriller with a buddy-comedy element at the center and a romantic plot line".
It all sounds a bit like an attempt to jump on the Twilight bandwagon if you ask us.
It'll be hard to top the nostalgic warmth we feel for the original, which was something like Back to the Future spliced with an old-fashioned monster movie.
