We’ve seen pics, heard the synopsis and listened to Richard Kelly talk about it, but now there is a proper trailer for The Box, which you can watch below.
The plot finds Cameron Diaz and James Marsden as a couple on the horns of a dilemma.
They’ve just taken delivery of a strange box with a single button on it and the instruction that if they press it, they get $1 million.
But like Nigerian spam emails, there’s a catch: someone unknown to them round the world will die. Can they handle the moral crisis? And who is the mysterious man (Frank Langella) who delivered it?
You’ll just have to watch the movie to find all that out, but for now watch the trailer and let us know your thoughts…

i thought i liked donnie darko, but i rewatched it recently and realised it was actually reeeeaaaally stupid, and southland tales made me cringe.
this, however, looks fairly interesting

Donnie Darko IS one of the greatest movies of all time. Southland Tales was... well... at the very least, ambitious. I'm optimistic for this one. I think Kelly is one of the most underrated directors out there.

I'm sure the Saw music is a filler as the film soundtrack isn't finished. First trailer often don't have the final music.
Looks different from the original story and the other TV versions. Richard Matheson stories can be very twisted, so I hope they do him proud.
