The Dark Knight has been rated

So, how dark is The Dark Knight?

PG-13 dark, that's how dark.

And we like the sound of the MPAA's justification for the rating - it's for intense sequences of violence and menace, apparently.

So, not the hard R rating we were all hoping for, but close enough. Yay!
