Here’s a plot we actually haven’t heard before: linguistics professor arrives home to find his wife dead. So after calling the police, he decides to talk to the only witness. So far, so normal. But the witness is… the family dog. Who the prof aims to teach to talk so that the pooch can spill the grisly details.
British helmer John Crowley is preparing to direct the drama, which We Are Marshall writer Jamie Linden is busy scribbling from Carolyn Parkhurst’s novel. Variety is checking for fleas.
