It seems strange to use the phrase “old cast” for a film that only came out in 2001, but in these fast-moving times, any movie older than five years is officially “oldsville” (so the kids tell us).
But unlike some “old” flicks which might soon be considered for remakes, The Fast And The Furious looks to be gathering the cast from that cult cheesy-but-awesome sleeper hit back together for the fourth entry in the franchise.
Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are already aboard Justin Lin’s film and now Jordana Brewster is deep in negotiations to reprise her role as Mia, sister to Diesel’s Dominic Toretto.
According to Moviehole, she’d play an integral role in a plot that sees Walker’s cop Brian getting himself out of federal trouble by agreeing to go undercover with a big time drug dealer who – you’ll never guess! – just happens to enjoy fast street races. And, yes, he manages to get Toretto involved too… We won’t go into any more spoilery details, but if you crave more, hit up Moviehole’s story here.
