The Hobbit Production Video #2 arrives online

Plus, two more Dwarves revealed

Peter Jackson has released the second Hobbit production video online, and two more Dwarves have been revealed.

The latest production video catches the team on a break after they've completed the first of three blocks of shooting on the mammoth project.

The footage will do little to calm The Hobbit enthusiasts whose excitement is going into overdrive.

Much of the video looks at the location scouting process, as PJ and co are spoilt for choice with New Zealand's stunning vistas.

We also get a look at Andy Serkis, who's seen doing his mo-cap thang, as well as looking pretty comfortable handling his Second Unit Director duties.

Here's the video:

And if that wasn't enough Hobbit-related goodness for one day, two more Dwarves have been revealed. Following the look we recently had at Nori, Dori and Ori, a new still of Oin (John Callen) and Gloin (Peter Hambleton) has arrived on Yahoo! Movies.

Think Gloin looks a little familiar? He's the father of The Lord Of The Rings' leading dwarf Gimli.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey opens on 14 December 2012.

Howard Shore's score and Peter's scruffy beard bring a smile to my face. That clip has put me in the mood to watch LOTR's video diaries.

Why have they cast Radaghast? He isn't in the hobbit at all. ( he's only mentioned once, in passing, in The Lord of The Rings) Looks awesome though.
