The first two pics from M Night Shyamalan’s live-action adaptation of ‘toon series Avatar: The Last Airbender have gone online.
USA Today has the images, one of which you can find below (of Slumdog Millionaire’s Dev Patel, playing fire manipulating villain Zuko), and the other in the gallery to the right.
12-year-old Noah Ringer, who bears a striking resemblance to the main Avatar character, Aang, who controls water, plays the lead role. We’ve included a pic of the cartoon version in the same gallery so you can see for yourself.
Ringer apparently got the nickname Avatar since he looks so much like his character because of his shaved head, which, he explains, "keeps me cool when I'm doing tae kwon do.” He has a black belt folks – don’t mess with the kid.
Airbender arrives in cinemas next year, and hopefully won’t embarrass Shyamalan like much of his recent output.

Dev Patel? Zuko? i dont see it. also where is his scar? p.s oh btw Aang is primarily an airbender, hence "the last airbender". he does control earth, fire and water but thats comes later through training.
