M Night Shyamalan’s The Last Avatar has released its first teaser trailer out into the world, and you can see it below.
It’s too early to tell at this point whether Paramount will get the trilogy it might be hoping for from the film, or whether we have another pile of Dragonball Evolution on our hands.
But the effects are somewhat nifty and while it all starts out sounding like a typical hero’s journey story (a “chosen one” who will bring “balance” to the world – original!) evolves into something that has a nice little kick at the end.
Check it out for yourself and let us know what you think. Can M Night return to form?

It looks epic enough, even if I am ignorant to the source material. I just hope its good enough to restore faith in M. Night so that the proposed Unbreakable sequel can be greenlit.
