Forgetting Sarah Marshall’s star will co-write the next Kermit pic

Judd Apatow regular Jason Segel loves puppets. That much is true. In fact, he loves puppets so much that he wrote a Dracula musical starring puppets into Forgetting Sarah Marshall and has half-jokingly said he’d make it as a movie in itself.
But now he’s getting the chance to work with the best in the business as he and Sarah Marshall director Nick Stoller have made a deal with Disney to co-write the next Muppet movie, with Stoller at the helm. Given how talented the former Freaks & Geeks (and current How I Met Your Mother) star seems to be, he’d be a great match for Miss Piggy and co.
Variety is lighting the lights and playing the music for the story.
