Marvel have released a couple more stills from their upcoming Thor comic adaptation, as well as a triplet of character posters for the film.
The movie stills concentrate on Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and love-interest Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who become close when Thor is banished from Asgard to Earth.
Meanwhile, the new posters show off Thor in his full battle regalia, evil brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and nemesis The Destroyer – who lives up to that name in the film’s latest trailer.
Check out all the new images below…

Thor opens 27 April.

I also notice they are slapping Natalie all over the PR material - very sensible. I just cringe for the people who only go to see this movie on the basis that it has 2011's Oscar winning lead actress. Black Swan this aint.

When i first saw images of this i wasn't too sure, but the more i see of it the more excited i'm getting. Having been reading some of the more recent Thor's by Michael Straczynski i'm beginning to think this could be one of the better comic book films. Think Kenneth Brannagh's gonna do a good job if he can match the tone in those comics.

Not sure why they've cartoonised those 3 posters, but The Destroyer is looking better and better, one of the best realised characters I've seen in a comic book movie. "Black Swan this aint? Who would be stupid enough to think ANY film would be like Black Swan? I take it you're the only person in the world who has seen the finished version of Thor? Be sure to let Kenneth Brannagh know so he can give it the once over before signing off on it eh. All things point to KB having made a very good film out of a very Shakespearian source material. It could, could, be one of the best comic book movies ever made.
