Just when you thought Tim Allen had locked himself into a life of making one Disney comedy after another, he’s sneakily been building himself a completely different career.
Not content with switching gears for David Mamet’s upcoming martial arts drama Redbelt, he’s also signed on to direct his first film – Crazy On The Inside.
The indie comedy, which is currently angling for the likes Ray Liotta, Carrie-Anne Moss and Kelsey Grammer, finds Allen as a man just released from prison who realises life is a lot madder outside the walls.
Variety has the details and it’ll start shooting this month in LA.
