After what seems like years of searching, it appears that Tim Burton has finally zeroed in on an actress to play Alice in his new take on the Wonderland story.
Australian actress Mia Wasikowska will take on the lead role for Disney, working from a script by Linda Woolverton for a film that will be shot in 3D. Burton plans to start shooting in November and The Hollywood Reporter is going down the rabbit hole.
