As Darren Aronofsky picks himself back off the matt after the pummelling that The Fountain took, he’s been busy gathering an eclectic cast, with Mickey Rourke already busy in the ring for the director’s latest, indie grappling drama The Wrestler (you can see a pic of Rourke in character here.)
Now he’s also nabbed the stripper with a heart of gold who wins Rourke’s heart as Marisa Tomei has joined up. Variety’s ringside as the movie shoots in New York right now. If only Big Daddy were alive to see it…
