It's not long before Bayhem is unleashed in 3D, but until Transformers: Dark of the Moon arrives, eager fans can sate themselves with this new promo, dubbed a '3D trailer'.
Sadly, you wont be able to watch this in 3D, but it will be trailing that way in cinemas equipped with multidimensional screening capabilities.
There's not a great deal of new footage compared to the previous trailer, but what is new is very impressive indeed.
As you can probably guess, the latest promo hasn't been used to plant in some additional character beats (we still see very little of Megan Fox-replacement Rosie Huntington-Whiteley) or beef up the back story.
Instead, it's being used to showcase even more of the movie's jaw-dropping set pieces, with additional footage of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee tearing into action.
It's right here if you fancy taking a gander:
Transformers: Dark of the Moon is released on 1 July 2011.
Is Transformers 3 the movie to beat this summer? Of have you had enough of the Autobots? Do let us know…

I'll be honest. Thats some of the best use of CGI I have seen years. Of course the film looks completely ridiculous. Again I fear that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looks set be a mute model. Great soundtrack to match the trailer. Gets the heart racing. But as I said it looks like its not going to be that good. The trailer is over compensating. So far all 3 trailers have shown us far too many set pieces and I feel like I have seen all the best action already.

A mate of mine went to school with Rosie 'Thrice nightly' Whitely. I'll be honest, she looks terrible. But the film looks pretty shiny.

always hard to tell by the trailers but looks like an improvement on the 2nd one, cgi looks awesome. Having seen a clip of the new girl im afarid to say her "acting" is worse than Megan Fox (only basing that on what ive seen) but i'm sure nobody would really be surprised to hear that anyway.

Still looks like a pile of dung, and Rosie isn't that attractive.

From what I can tell it consists of Shia LaBeouf protecting a blow-up doll from the work of cowboy builders

It's probably going to be as bad as the rest with gaping plot holes you could drive Unicron through

CGI works well when it deals with metallic (i.e. non-human) creations. This looks like just more of the same. Unlike other big-budget films (SUPER 8, GREEN LANTERN, X-MEN, etc.) there's not even a hint of a STORY from this trailer. Yawn.

What could have been a fun trilogy of robots smashing the c**p out of each other, a good popcorn movie, it seems it was never to be. I never expected much from these Transformer films, but Bay has still managed to disappoint in one and two, and I can't say it looks much better for three, I think the problem here is he has tried to be serious and make an Epic movie with complicated structure, and unfortunately he is unable to, which is why it is just explosion after explosion! it keeps the blink now I'm bored now generation!

Jesus, some of you are miserable. "no story" "she obviously cant act" etc etc. Its simply a movie about giant alien robots knocking six bells out of each other, seriously who gives a sh*t about the story, or the female woman's acting(its not like megan fox set the first two movies alight). And to me is the perfect popcorn movie, as were the first two. No thinking involved, lots of actions, and a pretty lady(which i'm sorry guy she is, she just lacks the body that megan fox had back when they made the 2nd movie), if you cant just sit back, switch off and enjoy it, then i feel sorry for you.

Action fantastic, Bay isn't going to win any Oscars but he always delivers on great action and set pieces and this film does exactly what it says on the tin. It's the third film in the franchise and it's preaching to the converted in that it's simply turning the amp up to eleven so to speak, to pick fault in it from an objective cinema goers perspective is foolish.. As people have rightly said, if you go into this film expecting anything other than a glorious robotic wargasm, full of eye popping 3D and nose bleed inducing set pieces then you're an idiot.

I don't mind movies where you can leave your brain at home, these so called popcorn movies, but the transformer movies have been awful, a few good moments but overall poor. I would happily watch the cartoon movie instead.

Why didn't any1 think 2 set this movie in the near future, when humanity has accepted the eventz of the previous moviez, n science & technology has advanced to a reasonable level, so that the human army could've fielded SuperSoldierz... 'That' I couldn't miss... Seemz like the same dynamic frm the 1st 2 moviez.... Poor overwhelmed Humanity needz The Autobots once again... blah..!
