Twilight Breaking Dawn teaser takes a bow

You are cordially invited...

twilight breaking dawn

Those screams you're hearing? That's every teenage girl in the world watching the first teaser trailer for Part 1 of Twilight: Breaking Dawn.

And now you can watch it, too! The first footage from the series’ closing chapter shows the Twilight wedding is afforded all the pomp and ceremony of Will and Kate’s.

So, Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) are tying the knot, and everybody’s really happy about it – except for Jacob (Taylor Lautner), who rips his shirt off in anger. Again.

Check out the teaser below...

Promising that something will, y’know, actually happen in this Twilight film, there are hints of a real storyline with this teaser.

There’s also no skimping on body-on-body action between K-Stew and R-Pattz, the duo getting into some serious lip-locking. It even looks like they break a bed. Now we're screaming, too...

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 opens November 2011. Part 2 will follow in November 2012.

Groundbreaking? Or, uh, not? What do you think to this first teaser? Drop us your reactions below...

So apparently Robert Pattinson looks like a serial killer with a combover and Taylor Lautner's still contractually obliged to take his shirt off every 30 seconds... god that looked a*s. Dalidab how exactly do yo 'truly know' they will deliver? All it takes for you is one rippling bare torso in the trailer and you proclaim an upcoming film Citizen Kane.

I'll give you that Michael Sheen is good in them, I had to review the first one he appears in and really enjoyed the last few minutes just because of his and E. Fanning's performance- shame about the other 90 minutes! However I'd be skeptical that even Sheen and the generally very good cgi/cinematography of the series can keep propping up the woodenness of Pattinson and Lautner. For some reason in the twilight films they forget they're supposed to be human actors, and channel the thespian talents of mashed potato.

@Dalidab - I genuinely cannot understand what you are talking about half of the time, but I read something about 'excellent CGI werewolves'... Are you joking? Seriously? They look like little puppy dog werewolves! And 'great acting'. That is some serious hyperbole you use there. I can't stand these films, they are a blight on the cinematic landscape. Why not ban these films as well as The Human Centipede?!

@Dalidab... a) I never claimed that you thought they were all amazing, but you did say you thought these two would be very good films and that the CG wolves looked awesome, which I cannot understand at all. b) You do not have to have serious issues with your sexuality or masculinity to not enjoy a bunch of badly-acted, poorly-directed, horribly-scripted sub-par films. Seriously, that is a ridiculous statement to make. I know full well I don't like romantic comedies, because I'm not a romantic and I don't find them funny. Doesn't mean I have 'serious issues with my sexuality or masculinity'. Every now and then one might come along that makes me chuckle and I ain't too proud to admit it! Mean Girls for one example, was pretty funny. c) I apologise if I 'bullied' you by saying that, I just genuinely find it difficult to understand your posts sometimes. However, that isn't an excuse for that (yes) racist comment. I'm from Manchester, born and bred, so unless that's a foreign country, I ain't going anywhere!
