Two new Prometheus featurettes: watch now

Focusing on 3D and Logan Marshall-Green

Prometheus has released a pair of new featurettes online, one focusing on the use of 3D and other visual effects, and the other taking a closer look at Logan Marshall-Green's character, Charlie Holloway.

The first video sees Ridley Scott explain that, "this film starts off epic," before going on to confirm that the 3D technology lived up to every expectation he'd been harbouring. "I think the 3D is as good as you're going to see," he proclaims, confidently.

The second focuses on Dr. Charlie Holloway, who Logan Marshall-Green describes as being "a scientist… but more about the thrill, the chase." The actor also describes himself as "a fanboy of Ridley Scott's universe", which made bagging the role a dream come true.

Take a look at the new featurettes, below…

Nothing too spoilery this time around then, and no tentacled nastiness to speculate over… just good old-fashioned hype-building for one of our most anticipated films of the year,

Prometheus opens on 1 June, or this time next week to put it another way. Sounds better like that, doesn't it?

"Not too spoilery"? Are you kidding. Every time I watch a new trailer I see something new and a little part of my excitement dies. Anyway, I love the phrase "Ridley Scott's Universe" that was used in the second video. That sounds like a movie/series in its own right.
