It’s not every day that your brother is declared clinically dead, only to start breathing again. It’s even more unusual for it happen several times.

But it did happen to James Ordonez, who has turned his rollercoaster emotional experience into an indie film called Silver Cord. And he’s lined up the likes of Val Kilmer, Eric Balfour and Shane West to star.

Variety is ready to call it.
