There’s nothing like a prime clash of B-movie titans, which is what we’re hoping for now that Jean-Claude Van Damme and Vinnie Jones are starring in Weapon together.
Highlander – and, more recently, Give ‘Em Hell, Malone – helmer Russell Mulcahy seems like the perfect choice, for what could either be a clag-tastic cheese fest or a neat little thriller.
Van Damme and Jones will play Derek Chase and Jack Conway, the “world’s most talented assassins”. The two join forces when they attempt to take down a DEA-backed drug cartel.
It’s like the ’80s never ended, even if Vinnie isn’t quite on the same level as Arnie or Sly.

This sounds good, although I thought Van Damme rejected the Expendables because he wanted to focus on more arty pics arter JVCD. Strange as this sounds a lot like the Expendables to me.
Either way, Van Damme is always enjoyable, I can take or leave Vinnie though, he's a bit bland.
