Video: The Dark Knight Rises explodes in LA

Batwing versus HEMTT

We're sorry Joseph Gordon-Levitt. We know you told us to avoid Dark Knight Rises spoilers but we just couldn't help ourselves.

In our defence, there was plenty of action to see on Sunday's shoot as filming continued in Los Angeles for Christopher Nolan's film.

A handful of short videos shot from rooftops include the spectacular truck crash seen above, as well as a series of explosions that took place on Grand Avenue.

Meanwhile, the video below shows a faceoff between the Batwing and that Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT).

Looks to us like the Batwing comes off best.

Did you peek? If not, how are you reading this? Head below and tell us if you're using these spoilers to slowly piece together the movie in your head.

Now didn't we agree not to show revealing pictures next to the headline?

TotalFilm don't give a s**t - they'll spoil everything they can if it gets people reading their website. Unfortunately, that leaves someone like me with only one option - to stop buying total film magazine, and stop reading the website. Thanks for all the film news, guys! I'll see you again after TDKR ;¬)

Been over this a few times at this stage. Im sure there are people out there who didn't know or didn't want to know the Batwing was in the movie. But as Total Film feel it's their "job" to spoil the film for us, they've posted this information in the headline. We know you're going to keep posting this kind of information on the site (and I'm so sick of it I wont be logging on to the site or following the mag on twitter or fb until the movie comes out) but why oh why oh why can you keep the spoilers within the link so that people can only seen them if they actualyl click on it. Show some respect to those of us who want to know nothing about the movie! Can you not see there are many readers who want to know nothing about the movie?

All you guys do is winge about spoilers. You don't have a clue about the script, so what's your issue? The bat-wing will be in the trailer within months, it's not exactly the biggest secret of the film. Just stop it, don't look if you don't want to know.

I think the point was not to put too much info in the headline. You're right, the batwing was never going to stay hidden for long but unless some people look at websites with their eyes shut this was hard to miss.

Everything I've seen so far, looks really impressive! I Can't wait to see some finished footage. I hope that there is a full length trailer, before the end of the year. My guess, is one will probably be attached to the new Sherlock Holmes, this December.

Holy s**t, stop crying about spoilers, did it never occur to you that if you don't want to read about info leaked from a film then don't go on a film magazines website, jesus, its hardly f*****g rocket science.

And who says for sure it's the batwing anyway, as far as i can gather thats just educated guesses, judging by all the clips I've seen of it moving around i would stake a months wages that its not the batwing but more likely a batcopter i can't see a jet jinking through streets and following trucks around street corners only 10 foot above the ground.
