Rockstar Games have revealed the new trailer for Max Payne 3.
In a move that should hopefully wash away the sour taste left by the risible movie adaptation (in which Rockstar had no involvement), Max Payne 3 looks to be going back to the series’ gritty basics.
Payne’s no longer carrying a badge, and he's relocated from New York to Sao Paulo, where he’s working in the ‘protection’ business. Before long, another dame’s gotten him into a heap of trouble, and he’s shaving his head and heading out on a vengeance mission.
All the series' hallmarks are there: none-more-gravelly voiceover, immersive action, noir-y plots and plenty of firepower.
Check out the trailer here:
Max Payne 3 is coming to Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC in March 2012.

Why is everyone getting so annoyed that this is an article about a videogame? If you don't want to read it, then read one of many other stories related to movies.
